Coach Duodu quits  U-17 squad
Banjul, Gambia, 02/15 - Osam Duodu, head coach of Gambia`s Under-17 national squad, "The Baby Scorpions", has resigned his post, FA officials confirmed here Tuesday, without giving reasons for the departure of the Ghanaian-born technician.
The Gambia Football Association (GFA) officials said Duodu terminated his agreement "without clearly advancing reasons for his move". "I do not want to go into details of my resignation. I am going back home to aid my country with the forthcoming 2006 World Cup in Germany and the 2008 African Cup of Nations that my country, Ghana, will host," Duodu was quoted as saying.
